My creative process is intuitive, when I was about to create a piece it led me to revisit my earlier painting style. In this piece the sea and sky dissolve into one another, with a landscape in the far distant, light becomes the quiet subject. The sun scatters itself across the water, reminding us that nothing is ever still—only briefly held. This painting is an invitation to pause, breathe, and remember the calm that exists between movement and horizon.
